As the years went by things changed, but not for the better. I thought of escape, escaping him and everything he did. We all grew to know, death may be the only escape.

I was surprised to find out this book was written by someone who was able to escape from human trafficking. This is the first book of the "Angel" series where Angel leaves her home thinking she'll find whats missing in her life after meeting Easy. An intense read at times but keeps you engaged to the last page!
"And He Called Me Angel" is one of the best books I have read. The book is well written, kept my attention throughout and I had a very hard time putting it down. I highly recommend everyone to read this book to understand the mindset up victims, why they stay and the life they endure.
My heart was touched while reading this book, many of the circumstances sounded eerily familiar to other victims I witnessed during my own trafficking experience.
Great Job!!!!! I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Great book! The author spoke at my church which made me want to read her book.
I love this book. The journey she went through is not as uncommon as people want to believe. She is getting the word out of the troubles a lot of people face everyday. It was inspirational and captured my attention from the beginning. I also want to write a book on real life situation like this except my way through meeting my husband and going through teen pregnancy and this gave me a very big push.

I really enjoyed this autobiography. I heard the author speak about a month ago. I could hardly put the book down. This book introduces their readers to the inside world of sex trafficking.
